LLM Visibility Stack®

How it works

Five tiers, worked from the base up

Each tier answers one question an assistant has to settle before it can name you. Work starts with a baseline, then runs the tiers in order. Once the monthly loop is running, the weakest tier always goes first.

The tier names and their subtitles come from the book. The work under each is how EWR Digital delivers it.

Become unambiguous

The questionIs this one company, described the same way everywhere?

An assistant meets you in pieces: your website, a map listing, a directory profile, an old press mention with last decade's address. If the pieces disagree on your name, your phone number or who works there, the assistant has to guess which one is you, and a guess is easy to get wrong. EWR Digital sets out the two ways it goes wrong, conflation and contamination, in why AI gets a business wrong and how to fix it.

  • Find every profile and listing that describes you.
  • Reconcile the name, address, phone number and people listed.
  • Correct the ones that disagree, at the source.
  • State the same facts in structured data on your own site. That is accuracy work, not a way to get cited.

Engine

Be present beyond your own website

The questionDo other sites talk about you?

Your own site is one voice, and an interested one. Assistants also read directories, review sites, trade lists, local news and whatever else people have written about you, and when all of those are silent an assistant has little reason to repeat what your own site says about itself. The Stack says mentions rather than backlinks: the aim is to be talked about where assistants look, with or without a link.

  • Complete the directory and review profiles assistants read.
  • Earn mentions on other sites.
  • Run a review program that follows each platform's rules.

Validation

In the book: Analyst & Academic Citations

Make your proof portable

The questionDoes anyone credible vouch for you?

Being mentioned is not the same as being vouched for. A "best of" list, a press story or a place in your field's recognized directory is someone else putting their name next to yours.

  • Earn places on "best of" lists.
  • Earn press coverage.
  • Get listed in the recognized directories in your field.

Portable proof is evidence that travels.

Ingestion

Be the answer an assistant can retrieve

The questionIs there a page that answers this exact question?

The measurement shows the specific questions where an assistant names someone else. Often the reason is plain: nobody, including you, has a page that answers that question. This is the tier closest to your SEO agency's work, so the brief goes to them and to you, in writing, and they build the page.

  • Find the questions where an assistant names someone else.
  • Brief the page that would answer each one.
  • Hand the brief to whoever owns your website.

Impact

In the book: Market Adoption & Recognition

Run the loop

The questionDid any of it change what the assistants say?

Four tiers of work mean nothing until a number says whether the answers changed. Every month runs the same four steps, measured the same way each time.

  1. 1

    Ask 12 times

Each question, on ChatGPT and on Perplexity, in each language.

  2. 2

    Score it

How often you are named, with a margin of error.

  3. 3

    Real or noise?

A verdict on every change, with the reason.

  4. 4

    Fix the smallest gap

The weakest tier goes first. Then the measurement runs again.

In AI answers, selection is the only scoreboard that matters.

Governance

Nothing is published, on your site or anyone else's, that you have not approved. In a regulated field such as law, medicine or finance, the person responsible for your advertising rules signs off before anything goes out.

That rule slows some work down. It stays anyway: an assistant repeating a claim you cannot stand behind is worse than an assistant not naming you at all.
