FAQ
Questions about the method, and what the names mean
Short answers to the questions people ask first. What the names mean, including the older ones, is at the end.
The method
What it is, who made it, what it costs
What is the LLM Visibility Stack®?
The LLM Visibility Stack® is a five-tier method, created by Matthew Bertram and set out in his book LLM Visibility (2026), for getting ChatGPT and Perplexity to name a business accurately, measured every month with a margin of error. It is a registered U.S. trademark of Matthew Bertram, Reg. No. 8202813.
Who created it, and who delivers it?
Matthew Bertram created it and set it out in his book LLM Visibility. EWR Digital, the Houston agency where he is CEO, delivers it. Who built it
Why does each tier have two names?
The tier names, Foundation to Impact, come from the book, and so does each tier's subtitle, such as Trademark Anchors for Foundation. The work listed under each tier on this site is how EWR Digital delivers it, so the two do not always use the same words. How each tier works
Does it guarantee that ChatGPT will name us?
No. Nobody controls what an assistant says. What you get is the work, done in order, and a monthly measurement with a margin of error that says whether the answers moved.
Which assistants does it measure?
ChatGPT (gpt-5-mini) and Perplexity (sonar), asked through their APIs. Not yet Gemini or Claude. Google's AI features stay with your SEO agency. How it is measured
Does it replace our SEO agency?
No. Your agency keeps the website. EWR Digital, which delivers the Stack, owns the measurement, the work off your website and any second language. How the line is drawn
How is it priced?
One flat monthly fee, quoted on the discovery call. Never a fee per lead, per sale or per signed case. How it starts

What the names mean
Is the LLM Visibility Framework something different?
No. LLM Visibility Stack® is the method's name. Framework describes what kind of thing it is, the way method does, so you may see the Stack called a framework. Some EWR Digital pages call it the LLM Visibility Framework. They mean the same method. Matthew Bertram keeps a dated record of the framework name on his own site.
What does LLM Visibility mean on its own?
Two things. It is the title of Matthew Bertram's book, LLM Visibility (2026), which sets out the method. It is also the name for what the method works on: how often, and how accurately, AI assistants name a business when people ask them for help. EWR Digital keeps a longer definition of LLM Visibility.
What were AI Visible and the AI Discoverability Framework?
Names EWR Digital used earlier for parts of the same work: AI Visible for a consulting and reporting service, and the AI Discoverability Framework for how entities and signals are structured so AI systems can recognize a brand. Both names are retired. Neither is a separate method today.
Where does the ® go?
After Stack, at the end of the phrase. The registration covers the whole name, LLM Visibility Stack, so the symbol never sits after Visibility.
Still have a question?
Ask it on a discovery call.
